Frequently Asked Questions
Does CMC Recycling Fort Worth pay cash for copper?
Texas law requires that non-ferrous metal payments above a certain threshold be made via a cash card rather than bills. CMC can issue a cash card on-site if you do not have one, or they can mail a check to the address on your ID. Bring a valid driver's license or military ID to every visit.
Is CMC Recycling Fort Worth open on Saturdays?
Yes. The Fort Worth yard is open Saturday 8 AM–noon in addition to weekday hours of 8 AM–4:30 PM Monday through Friday. The yard is closed Sundays.
Will CMC Recycling Fort Worth accept old appliances or electronics?
CMC accepts ferrous and nonferrous scrap metals but explicitly does not accept office machines or electronics. If an appliance is primarily steel and has had refrigerants or other hazardous materials removed, call (817) 332-8111 to confirm what they can take. E-waste should go to a certified electronics recycler.
