About This Location

The Environmental Collection Center (ECC) is the City of Fort Worth's household hazardous waste drop-off at 6400 Bridge Street, operated by Fort Worth Environmental Services. Residents of Fort Worth and participating cities can bring paints, automotive fluids, batteries, chemicals, cooking oil and light bulbs for free disposal with proof of residency. It is a walk-in, residents-only facility, not a commercial waste site, and staff unload your vehicle for you.

The ECC is for residential household hazardous waste and recycling only. Non-residents and commercial/industrial waste are not accepted. The Styrofoam densifier was temporarily out of service; Styrofoam was being accepted for disposal only during that period.
