Frequently Asked Questions

Does this Bondurant location accept computers and televisions?

Yes — the Bondurant site accepts computers and TVs as e-waste, which is not the case at every MWA satellite location. Bring them during regular hours with no appointment needed for residential drop-off.

Can I drop off latex paint here?

No. Latex (water-based) paint is not accepted as hazardous waste. To dispose of it, MWA recommends drying it thoroughly (leave the lid off or mix in kitty litter) and then placing the dried paint in your regular household trash.

Do I need to live in Bondurant or Polk County to use this drop-off?

The facility serves residents of MWA member communities, which includes most of the Des Moines metro area. Residents of member communities may drop off for free without an appointment. Businesses must enroll first by contacting MWA at 515-967-5512.
