Frequently Asked Questions

Can I drop off recycling or old electronics here as a Columbus resident?

Cinco Technologies is a commercial e-waste and lithium-battery recycler and ITAD provider serving businesses, data centers and government, not a household drop-off center. Call +1 614-277-9999 before bringing personal items to confirm they can accept them.

Does Cinco Technologies recycle lithium batteries?

Yes. Cinco specializes in recycling lithium batteries of various shapes, sizes and chemistries, along with critical-materials recovery, primarily for manufacturers and energy-storage companies.

Does Cinco offer data destruction?

Yes. As an ITAD provider, Cinco offers secure data destruction and electronics demanufacturing for business IT assets.

Where can Columbus residents drop off household recycling instead?

For curbside and drop-off recycling, Columbus residents should use the City of Columbus / SWACO (Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio) programs. Cinco's work is commercial, so a municipal drop-off is the better fit for household materials.
