Recycling Center in Chardon, Ohio
About This Location
The Geauga Collection Facility at 12685 Merritt Rd in Chardon is run by the Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District as a free, drive-through drop-off for the hard-to-recycle items that curbside bins won't take. Residents stay in their vehicles while staff unload household hazardous waste, electronics, appliances, batteries and clean foam. It is open every Friday year-round plus one Saturday a month in the warmer season, and everything accepted is taken at no charge — the catch is that service is limited to Geauga and Trumbull County residents.
