Frequently Asked Questions
Is 1 Shot Recycling a free public drop-off?
No. It is a commercial scrap yard that buys ferrous and non-ferrous metal and other scrap. You are paid for qualifying material rather than dropping it off for free.
What metals do they buy?
Steel and other ferrous scrap, aluminum, copper, car bodies, batteries and precious metals such as gold and silver. They also take used tires and used oil/fuel.
What's the highest-paying scrap here?
Non-ferrous metals like copper and precious metals generally pay the most, but prices move with the market. Call 937-447-3300 for the day's rates before hauling a load.
Do they take household recycling like glass or cardboard?
This is a scrap and services business, so bring metals and the listed scrap items. For household glass, cardboard and plastics, use a municipal or county drop-off instead.
