Frequently Asked Questions
Does the ecoATM kiosk in Laurel accept tablets?
No. The kiosk at this Walmart Supercenter location accepts phones (including foldables) and iPods, but does not accept tablets. Check ecoatm.com for nearby locations that may accept tablets.
How does the ecoATM kiosk determine the value of my phone?
The machine uses machine vision, electrical diagnostics, and AI to assess the device model, screen condition, and functionality. It then checks current secondary market prices and makes an immediate cash offer. You can preview an estimate in the ecoATM app before visiting.
What happens to the phones collected by ecoATM?
Devices in working condition are resold to extend their useful life. Non-functional phones are broken down and recycled responsibly, keeping hazardous materials like lithium and lead out of landfills.
