Recycling in Rogers: A Local Guide
Rogers, Minnesota — a Hennepin County city along I-94 northwest of Minneapolis — is home to two metal-focused recycling businesses operating on its industrial corridor. Both serve consumers and commercial clients, but with different specialties: one focuses on precious-metals recovery, the other on scrap metal and electronics.
Enviro-Chem, Inc. at 21821 Industrial Boulevard is a precious-metals recovery and recycling company listed in the Minnesota PCA's recycling-markets database as an intermediary processor for precious-metals-bearing industrial waste. Its retail counter buys scrap gold (jewelry, dental, coins, bullion, gold-filled), silver (sterling, silverplate, coins), platinum, palladium, and rhodium from the public at market-based pricing. It also accepts non-ferrous scrap (copper, aluminum, brass) and industrial materials such as printed circuit boards and X-ray film. Hours are Monday–Thursday 8 AM–4 PM and Friday 8 AM–3:30 PM; closed weekends.
Maximum Recycling at 21025 S Diamond Lake Road buys both ferrous and non-ferrous metals from consumers and businesses, including copper, aluminum cans, brass, stainless steel, insulated wire, sheet iron, and appliances. It also accepts electronics — computers, circuit boards, printers, and keyboards — with a small fee for CRT monitors, TVs, LCDs, and fluorescent bulbs. Hours are Monday–Friday 8 AM–3:30 PM and Saturday 9 AM–12:30 PM; closed Sunday.
