Match the Material to the Facility
Different materials need different facility types:

Calling Ahead Saves Trips
Recycling center accepted materials and hours change. A quick phone call before a trip with specialty items — large quantities of a specific material, unusual items, or items you're uncertain about — prevents wasted drives.
Ask specifically: 'Do you accept [item]?' and 'Are there any size, quantity, or preparation requirements?' Most facility staff are happy to answer questions.
